American rapper Tauheed K. Epps, better known by his stage name 2 Chainz, was born on September 12, 1977.

In the beginning, he and his longtime buddy and fellow rapper Earl “Dolla Boy” Conyers were known as one-half of the Southern hip hop group Playaz Circle.

They were both born and raised in College Park, Georgia. The duo, whose debut song is “Duffle Bag Boy,” got signed to fellow Georgia-based rapper Ludacris’ Disturbing tha Peace label (featuring Lil Wayne).
