50 Cent is an American rapper, actor, producer, and businessman his real name is Curtis James Jackson. Born July 6, 1975 in Queens, New York City, New York, USA.

A few days before the album’s scheduled release, he was shot, ending his musical career. Power of the Dollar was never released. In 2000, he started a musical career and produced it for Columbia Records.

Jackson was found by Eminem in 2002 and signed to Shady Records, which was run by Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records, after Jackson released the compilation album Guess Who’s Back?
