Before breaking out on the music industry, the Awaka, Owerri North Local Government Area-born musician began performing in his neighborhood church choir where he also served as a prophet.

His debut album, “Ego Akokwalam,” launched him into the spotlight with hits like “Emelam Njo,” “Juana,” “Nne Wu Ihe,” and “Nwoke Ejila Ajula Ara.”

King Ababa Nna has continued to dominate the Bongo music world after the release of that record. He then added to that record with more successful albums, including Ego Amaka and Okwe Agbala.
