Brandon Flowers Biography

Brandon Richard Flowers, the sixth child of his parents, was born in Las Vegas on June 21, 1981. His older brother Shane’s cassettes were his greatest shot to break into music because he was raised in the sleepy Utah town of Nephi.

Brandon’s junior year of high school saw the Flowers family move back to Las Vegas, nevertheless.

While working as a bellhop at the Gold Coast and Caesar’s Palace hotels, Brandon participated in a number of keyboard bands as a side hobby, most notably the unsuccessful band Blush Response.

After Blush Response disbanded in 2002, Brandon saw an Oasis concert and was motivated to focus his musical career on a full-fledged rock band.
