Chief Stephen Osita Osadebe, also known as Osita Osadebe, was an Atani-born Nigerian highlife musician born March 17, 1936. He passed away on May 11, 2007.

He surged into one of the most well-known Igbo highlife artists over the course of a career spanning more than four decades. His most well-known song was “Osondi Owendi,” released in 1984, which made him a highlife genre pioneer and one of Nigeria’s most well-known highlife singer ever.
