The Ukwulu, Anambra-born music master Chief Dr Emeka Morocco Maduka began his Musical Career at the age of 14 and has been one of the oldest Igbo early Highlife singers

He is well-known for the Ekpili music genre and has fans all over the world, including in the United States, Europe, Asia, and so forth.

According to reports, the singer had a stroke but managed to recover. Later, he became ill with an unspecified illness that ultimately led to his death.
