Harry Styles Biography

Harry Styles, whose full name is Harry Edward Styles, is a renowned solo artist and one of the founding members of the boy band One Direction. He was born in Redditch, Worcestershire, England, on February 1, 1994. Styles is also a singer, songwriter, and actor.

When One Direction got together in 2010 to compete on the British music competition television program The X Factor, Styles joined the group. He eventually started a career as a solo artist, an acting career, and dabbled in fashion.

Styles was raised by his parents, Anne Twist and Desmond Styles, in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England. When he was seven years old, his parents got divorced; after that, his mother raised him and his older sister, Gemma.
