John Legend Biography

John Legend, real name John Roger Stephens, is an American singer-songwriter and pianist who rose to fame in the early twenty-first century through the combination of R&B and soul music.

He was born in Springfield, Ohio, on December 28, 1978.

He was also in demand as a session musician. The first African American man to get all four of the major North American entertainment honors was Legend (EGOT: Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony).
