Juan Sanchez, an Amsterdam-based DJ/producer, founder of the Format record label, and resident of Amsterdam’s Shelter club, has made a name for himself as a world-renowned techno enthusiast.

He performed at many different venues and events, including Berghain, Awakenings, Paradigm, Gare, and Time Warp, thanks to his raw, strong sound.

Juan owns and operates the record company Format Records. Artists like Marcel Dettmann, Speedy J, Oscar Mulero, Luke Slater, DVS1, Laurent Garnier, and many others have enthusiastically embraced its releases.

With releases by Matrixxman, Jeroen Search, Mike Parker, ROD, and Juan himself, Format is quickly making a name for itself among fans of minimal techno.
