One of the well-known and rapidly emerging pop stars from northern Nigeria is Kawu Dan Sarki (arewa). He achieved this level thanks to his songs on hausa dancing (Gidan Gala). Additionally, Kawu dan Sarki is well-known for creating a novel hausa music style.

Kawu Dan Sarki was born in Kano, Kano State, on May 12, 1992. He went to both primary and secondary school.
