Lil Nas X Biography

Montero Lamar Hill, also known as Lil Nas X, was born on April 9, 1999, not far from Atlanta, Georgia. He is a rapper, singer, songwriter, and media figure who is 22 years old.

He spent one year as a student at the University of West Georgia before quitting to focus on his musical career.

He rose to stardom in 2019 when his country rap song, Old Town Road, was released. At the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards, where he won prizes for Best Music Video and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, he received the most nominations of any male artist.

He won two MTV Video Music Awards for Old Town Road, including Song of the Year and Favorite Rap/Hip Hop Song from the American Music Awards. In addition, he is the first openly gay Black musician to receive a Country Music Association honor.
