Tione Jayden Merritt, also known as Lil Tjay, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter who was born on April 30, 2001.

With the help of his song “Resume,” he gained notoriety in 2018, and later that year, he joined Columbia Records.

True 2 Myself, Lil Tjay’s first studio album, was released in 2019. He released the mixtape State of Emergency the next year, which only contains drill artists from New York City.
