Alexander Crossan, better known by his stage name Mura Masa, was born in Guernsey on April 5, 1996. He is an electronic music producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. The song “Lovesick,” which debuted at the top of the Spotify Viral charts in both the UK and the US, is the most well-known work by Crossan.

Crossan became the first artist to be nominated as both a musician and a creative director for the same record when his self-titled debut album was nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Album and Best Recording Package at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards. At the 61st Annual Grammy Awards, his remix of Haim’s “Walking Away” took home the Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical trophy.
