Patoranking is the stage name of Nigerian reggae-dancehall musician and songwriter Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie. Patoranking is a native of Onicha, Ebonyi State Nigeria.

The music star was born in 1990 and raised in Ijegun-Egba Satellite Town. He had his early education at Citizen Comprehensive College Epe and later attended Jibril Martin Memorail Grammar School, Iponri.

At Citizen Comprehensive College in Epe, he received his early education, and at Iponri, he later attended Jibril Martin Memorail Grammar School.

Patoranking got his start in the music business performing at street jams and carnivals. Artists like Fela Kuti, Bob Marley, Tuface, Majek Fashek, and others have influenced him musically.

Patoranking has collaborated with Timaya and other Nigerian musicians. His popular song “Girlie o” propelled him to fame in February 2014. He signed a record deal with Foston Musik, which led to the creation of this smash hit. Later in 2014, he produced a remix of the Tiwa Savage-featuring song “Girlie O.”
