Travis Scott Biography

On April 3, 1991, Jacques Bermon Webster II, better known as Travis Scott, was born. He is a singer, songwriter, rapper, and record producer from the United States.

His stage name, Travis Scott, was created by combining the first name of one of his favorite uncles with that of Kid Cudi, who also happens to go by the name Scott Mescudi.

Prior to enrolling at Elkins High School, he attended a private school. He obtained admission to the University of Texas in San Antonio after graduating from the same in 2007.

Scott, though, left college in his second year to pursue a career in music. His parents ceased providing for him financially out of anger about this.

In 2008, Travis Scott and Chris Holloway, a longtime friend, established a duo and shared their debut EP single on the social networking site Myspace. He and Chris Holloway decided to go by the name The Graduates when they were a duo.

In 2009, Travis Scott and OG Chess, a classmate, started a new group called The Classmates. They both collaborated on and released Buddy Rich and Cruis’n USA in 2009 and 2010, respectively. However, due to monetary and interpersonal differences, they divorced in 2012.
