Swedish rapper, singer, and composer Jonatan Aron Leandoer Hstad (born July 18, 1996) is better known by his stage name, Yung Lean.

Yung Lean, who is widely regarded as one of the most important figures in the early cloud rap era, shot to fame in 2013 when his song “Ginseng Strip 2002” went popular on YouTube.

He released his debut mixtape, Unknown Death 2002, later that year, and his debut studio album, Unknown Memory, the following year.

Both Yung Lean’s second mixtape, Frost God, and his second studio album, Warlord, were released in 2016. His third studio album, Stranger, was published in 2017, while his third mixtape, Poison Ivy, was released in 2018.
